FROM THE OFFICE
We are near the end of this academic year. Many things to look back or forward to, resulting in a NEPTUNE E-News ‘XL’.
This season we have had three very successful projects; in Budapest, Leeuwarden and Wolverhampton. You can find the reports in the section ‘Articles’.
Unfortunately for Budapest (BUTE), these were the last projects. After 16 years of pleasant co-operation in organising international projects the time has come to say goodbye. It is a real pity that one of our longest partners is leaving us, but we look back with pleasure on the five projects that through the years have been organised in Budapest. From this place we would like to thank Budapest for the pleasant collaboration and all of their effort in organising projects. Who knows, in future…
The fact that all of our other partners remain in our NEPTUNE network is good news. After a period of five years in which all partners have organised one project, we are ready to enter a new round of five years.
Other than Budapest leaving us, there is one change in partners because the university of Wolverhampton is going from two circles to one. This means that there will be three vacancies in the circles 1, 2 and 3. Partner search will therefore be high on the things-to-do-list of next academic year. Also the Teacher Training in Leeuwarden and, starting at the same time, the project in Oldenburg will have our attention in the next period until the Autumn of 2007.
With this E-News we hope to inform you about our activities of the past period and next academic year, but first of all we wish you a sunny and nice Summer. Enjoy your holidays!
