Opportunities in Education
The School of the Built Environment and the department of Public Management of the NHL University of Applied Science are organising a teacher training conference on 7, 8 and 9 November 2007. The conference will be hosted by the NEPTUNE network, our department of Public Management and the lectorate Water Management of the NHL.

Our Water management partners from Beira Mozambique and Yekaterinburg Russia are invited to come to Leeuwarden in November to share knowledge and experiences about new education methods.

In order to benefit as much as possible from each other we also would like to welcome our other international partners to join us in this conference. The existing ideas, new developments and experiences in your home-country are of interest to all of us.

Needless to say that it offers a wonderful opportunity for the NEPTUNE partners to meet and greet and to get re-acquainted. Most partners have decided to continue their membership for another 5 years, so we have something to celebrate!

The programme on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will include:

• Key note lectures
• Workshops
• Site-visits to schools and local authorities
• Social programme

Cost per participant:

• Conference fee € 300,-
• Travel and subsistence (partners with whom we also share Erasmus agreement could apply for Erasmus funding at their home universities.
